Poem – The Beauty Inside

Those with the strongest masks.
Live in ideas but never take on the tasks.

They often hide hate behind feigned smiles.
But their words only look to make some exiles.

You can always detect a mask because the eyes are lifeless and dim.
That is because those eyes do not look out but only for ways to get under your skin.

I don’t like dealing with those types of souls.
They have no hope and want to thwart other’s goals.

If anyone wants to really let go of needing aces up their sleeves.
They will have to let go of those things they thought they achieved.

Once that mask is finally gone.
And they realize that they believed their own con.

They will be free to find the beauty that is really inside.
And that is something that I never want them to hide.
