Poem – The Goddesses Call

Something keeps calling to me from far away.
Yet, she keeps getting closer every day.
I hear her heartbeat deep in my chest.
She reminds me that soon it will be time to rest.

I do not fear that moment in time.
Everything in this life has been a mountain to climb.
But I relished every moment of both pain and peace.
Because that is the pulse of life that will never cease.

Soul’s wander through life and discover paths unknown.
Once a path is taken … it becomes a part of our home.
Let the pathways that pass under your feet.
Be a reminder that there is nothing that your soul cannot defeat.

Because even in death the path does not end.
This life might be over, but the soul will forever extend.
Live this life as full as you can muster.
Embrace all you are and let this life have luster.

That is when the gates will open wide.
Once you embrace duality you will be on the other side.
Then you will hear the Goddesses words.
And become the beauty inside that is a thunderbird.
