Poem – Bruce Caldwell and Lee Provancha Day – Principals with Ballet West

Poem – Bruce Caldwell and Lee Provancha Day

Bruce and Lee, a perfect pair,

Their bond in dance beyond compare,

So attuned, they moved as one,

A connection deeper than anyone.

They read each other’s thoughts and hearts,

Their dance a work of emotional art,

A partnership built on trust and love,

An unbreakable bond, like wings of a dove.

Family in spirit, they shared a rare gift,

Their passion and talent, a bond so swift,

On stage, they wove magic with grace,

They moved as one in an eternal embrace.

Through every step and every turn,

Their love for dance did brightly burn,

A deep and heartfelt connection they shared,

In every move, their emotions bared.

Their bond was so strong, it touched many souls,

A dance of depth, that made other hearts whole,

In each other, they found a mirror true,

Their flow and dance, seemed forever fresh and new.

Bruce and Lee, were a perfect partnership indeed,

Their dance a reflection of their deeper hearts’ need,

A legacy of beauty, they left in their wake,

Their bond, an emotion that words cannot break.

They leave behind a legacy so true.

That even now they inspire dancers anew.

And somehow, they will never take a final bow.

Because a curtain never closes on such a powerful vow.
