Poem – Catch the Tail Of Your Own Shooting Star
If you ever have a moment … to just be who you are.
Know that you just might catch the tail of your own shooting star.
If you can hang on, it will be the ride of your life.
But remember that such a force will cause others strife.
That is because you reflect … what they gave up on.
And while they remember it, they will hear your song.
The pain of giving up something so precious … is a terrible thing.
When we realize that we took our own arrow … off the bowstring.
If you fear the tension required for that arrow (in you) to fly.
Then the joys that would follow will also never arrive.
