Poem – Dancing With Kali
The Dark Goddess stares at me,
In meditation’s trance,
Her skin as black as night,
Or green, in her shifting glance.
She watches, considers,
Silent, yet ever-present,
A force of transformation,
Chaos and destruction, her essence.
She speaks not with words,
But her message is clear,
“I am you,” she whispers,
A truth that I must hear.
For Kali is the destroyer,
Of ignorance and ego’s hold,
She helps us let go of attachment,
And guides us towards the gold.
The gold of spiritual growth,
And enlightenment’s embrace,
But first, we must surrender,
And accept our fears with grace.
The darkness of time and reality,
She embodies in her hue,
But it’s through this darkness,
That we can discover what is true.
So I welcome the Dark Goddess,
In her power and her might,
For she helps me overcome,
My fears and limitations, in sight.
And as I dance with Kali,
In the rhythm of the divine,
I find liberation and freedom,
In the surrender and acceptance, of mine.
