Poem – The Goddess of the Hot Springs
In the hot springs I dip my toes.
Into her waters, healing flows.
Hot and cold, I take the plunge.
And let the Goddess carefully expunge.
All the fears and all the stress.
She shows me what I need to address.
In the calm of the deep penetrating cold.
I must release what I can no longer hold.
In the water, I let go.
And let her healing currents flow.
The Goddess whispers in my ear.
Her message so true, and oh so clear.
All things are one, she says to me.
You are a part of my tapestry.
I am here to wash your troubles away.
And keep the mental demons at bay.
She is an ancient and very sacred place.
I let her waters show me grace.
For in her depths, she holds the key.
To harmony, health, and energy.
Without the waters and her delicate touch.
I would have wandered and held on to too much.
That is why I honor her now.
And surrender to her wisdom to soothe my brow.
