Some save their breath for talking.
Their internal anxiety seeking an outlet.

Some save their breath for the races that they run in life.
A goal just out of reach, a finish line of some substance.

I save my breath for those whose being wants to capture that breath.
Desire overriding logic, a longing to taste what was lost in some distant time.

In my eyes, they see that breath and they remember.
And now they are desperate to touch, share, and become whole with it once again.

Do they feel that flow of breath as it moves between us?
Do they become inspired in the poetic nuance of passion?

If I share this breath with you, will we merge and become one?
If we are one, will we never forget … ever again?
