Quote – Karmic Lessons and Enlightenment

The game is always awareness.
One cannot become enlightened
if one is asleep and just along for the ride.
One cannot become fully conscious
if we do not understand
the matrix of the moment.
To be enlightened means to move
from one’s full presence
and to have mastered
how to bring all of oneself
into this present circumstance.

Karmic lessons always point out
where we did not read
a situation properly
and where we lost our center
enough that our actions
and choices caused trauma
and suffering for others.
