Quote – The Sacred Space of a Cat

There are moments
when the wisdom
of a cat is greater
than all the teachers
of my life.

In those moments,
when a cat jumps
into your lap,
the only important thing
to do is to be a part
of the bliss that is petting.

I am being invited
into the sacred space
of trust and touch.

I am soothed by the sounds
of purring and the warmth of a cat.
As the cats’ eyes close sleepily,
I am being invited into his or her
sacred space of love.
And nothing else matters.
