Astrology for 1/1/2024

With the Moon in Virgo, let’s just say that things are going to get done. This aspect is very helpful because it sets the tone for the year to be dedicated and to pay attention to the details. Anchor that feeling in because if one keeps that as the focus, this year will go better.
The retrograde of Mercury begins to end and I am sure many are going to be very happy about that on all levels. Holidays and a Mercury Retrograde just added more stress into the mix. And much of it seemed unnecessary.
Then we get the added burst of energy of Uranus trining the Moon, and it can give all of us a lot of energy to channel into new things.
Perfect for the beginning of the year.
Venus squares to Saturn making things seem hard and difficult. Be realistic but not so negative. I know it might be hard but remember we are setting our intentions and tone for the entire year … today. Let’s do the best we can and keep the channels clear and open.
Know that many will feel certain overwhelming things that make them feel isolated, and unloved. Which may or may not be true, but it is definitely something that we should not dwell on or lock in.
Though they are an indicator of fears that are unresolved. Notice that discouraging feeling and don’t let it translate into discouragement or illusions that one is being rejected.
Everyone is feeling a heightened sensitivity at the moment. Use your rational mind to give you a reality check because things are probably not as gloomy as you might want to believe today.
Remember, we are harder on ourselves than anyone. It is time to be more kind to us and allow others the spaces they might need today to regroup. We are going to feel a bit tight financially and that does not allow us to feel as generous as usual.
At least the Mercury retrograde is going to begin to straighten. Over the next few weeks, all the delays and snafus are going to ease up and sort themselves out.
This is a year that we need to find new perspectives. To do that we need to stay awake to all information that is available to us.
Because Mercury is turning around, know that our perspective can be skewed and a bit off. Decisions come hard and we might not think we have all the information we need.
