Astrology for 5/3/2024

The Moon in Pisces makes us think deeper than is comfortable. There are so many wonderful things that are hidden inside our being waiting patiently to emerge when the external reality can finally allow that internal magic to have a chance to exist in the real world.
But the most precious parts within are the most fragile. They are vulnerable to the density, hate, and projections of this world. That is why they hide in the damp, soft, peaceful places in the dark.
The question to ask today is what conditions are certain gifts and abilities looking for before they are ready to emerge? Is it an external circumstance that lets us know we are ready? Or an internal state of acceptance and love that allows it to feel safe enough to peek out of its safe hiding spot? I often think it is a combination of both. But without our internal state being calm and peaceful, most things will stay in the dark waiting patiently. After eons of time waiting, a few more months or years is probably not going to matter that much.
This Pisces Moon is deeply compassionate and unconditionally loving when it is at its best. It is often easier to have compassion for others than us. This is why today, perhaps flip that around and make the intention to be as loving and kind to oneself as possible. When we understand what deep compassion is for the self, it is much easier to forgive others.
Mars will sextile with Pluto, and we are driven to succeed. It is time to figure out how to get those elusive results. We want more control but to get there we are going to have to put a lot of focus and effort into that pursuit. Notice the goal and then recognize that to satisfy that deeper longing, we will still have to discover the most organic way to do that.
The numbers today are about creating strategies that can get you to your goals.
The astrology is mirroring that beautifully by giving us more determination and to help us get in touch with our deepest self so we can remember, who we are, why we are here, what we really want, and how to make that finally happen.
For some of you it might feel as if we are building something from the ground floor up. Foundations take a lot of time and energy. It can feel as if the effort is going to be too taxing and we might question if it is worth it. All endeavors from the heart have value. People do the right things for the wrong reasons. Just as they do the wrong things for what they believe to be the right reasons.
Notice what is motivating you to move at this time. Notice if it is for the greater good. Notice if your actions to get there will harm others? The key to remember is; “Is it true? Is it loving? Is it right? And is it what you came here to do?”
Neptune and the Sun will semi-square and you might feel a sudden feeling of doubt. This aspect breeds uncertainty and confusion. We may feel as if we are second guessing ourselves. When we are caught in the land of limbo, flexibility is helpful to work our way out of things. Being adamant and demanding that things conform to our methods is not the right path today. You may feel as if you suddenly have no energy left. It may feel like all the power went out of your body. This can make us feel confused and as if our focus is off course.
Instead, think of it as a moment to take a break, do what is peaceful and refreshing to the mind, body, and soul. Tomorrow will be another day. The planets are always in motion. Nothing stays the same forever. Perhaps we just need to wait it out.
