Astrology for January 13, 2025

I know I am not alone in noticing that Full Moon coming in. It culminates this evening in Cancer, and it helps us see what we have been asked to leave behind and walk away from. Take time with family and do things that matter. More and more stuff will come to light, and it can stir up feelings that you might have thought were resolved. Often, we have to do things in layers and bits. I find situations are often like an octopus. You pull out a big chunk but then can spend years discovering small bits of tentacle and suckers stuck in strange places. To heal we need to feel safe. To do that we need to know what we need for safety and what people are actually safe.

This Moon points to those places where we might have put something important to us personally off to the side. But now, we might feel as if we are running out of time and it is important to figure out how to go back to that thing and finally complete it once and for all.

We can’t help but notice what it is that we need to address. That is because this Moon is connecting with the Nodes, Uranus, and Neptune. We are in a year where much will change, and we will also need to change with it. Addressing unresolved emotional incompletions helps to get those things out of the way that we might stumble over later on.

Mars is still in its retrograde and how it connects to this Full Moon shows us those places we are still mad, holding resentment, and feel agitated. While we can see those places, we just don’t seem to have a lot of energy to address them in constructive ways. Just don’t beat yourself up for not feeling motivated. If you don’t know … don’t go. More information is coming but it is not coming today. Best to wait and not think you have it all figured out.

When we are calm and centered … then what comes is seen clearly through the lens of our understanding. What is clear is that we need to not take too much on at this time. We are at the edge of overwhelm as it is.
