Weekly Astrology for July 20-26, 2025

As we move ahead there is a new sense of completion and devotion that is about finding a way to move with the Mercury Retrograde in Leo and the New Moon with the Sun moving also into Leo. Seems we have a bit of spring in our step and a fire in our guts that wants us to keep going. It is okay to feel a bit self-involved and focused. We look to our own future. One that is asking to be explored. It is time to take back the reins and our power.

July 22, the Sun enters Leo

For many it feels about time. But time for what … exactly? Time for a shift. Time for crowns of false gods to fall? That time is coming though it is more in August, but the feelings are arising that cannot be stopped. The boldness of that fire will burn those that demand what is not earned. Leo is a sign that is about us. It is willing to move outward in expressing what is true without requiring any feeling or need to belong to a group or the past. Leo energy gives permission for one to take up space and to touch things that we were told to keep our hands off of. We are here to embody and express who and what we are with greater ease, creative vitality, and a playful self-authority. Love is the intent, and generosity is the method for that intention to flow.
The Mercury Retrograde is filling us with a desire to understand our deepest selves and to allow us to reclaim the light that is our birthright. We notice what has been holding us back.
Mercury comes out of retrograde on August 11^th and I expect after that, “shit to fly”. But for this week. It is time to relax and play.

July 24^th, New Moon in Leo
Who are you? Who are you really … deep down inside? That is the quest that begins in earnest today. Where do you find your courage to put yourself first and allow the fates to determine the paths of others. The game is to not devote oneself to those on thrones but to commit to our truth and our worth.
This New Moon, the Mercury retrograde, and the Pluto opposition combine their forces and try to launch us into a place of change in which we are unafraid to confront and combat evil. And today, there is the boldness of Leo at our backs supporting us to move towards those things that really matter to us.

Overall, this week is one where what we have the courage to seek within, will begin to take form and have substance in the external world.
