Numerology/Astrology for 1/21/15

Today is the number 3. This number reminds us that when you focus on particular thoughts you give energy to them and that is like feeding a plant water, light, and food. So today, look at the thoughts that you are focusing on and determine if you want to keep giving that thought energy to keep it going. Do you like the results in your body/mind/spirit when you are caught in that particular thought? Do others around you like how they feel around you when you are running those thoughts? Are you pleasant to be around or do you drain others energy by endlessly going over and over those things. The number 3 is calling for you to reconnect and focus on that Divine Spark within yourself and others. Why not focus on growing faith in yourself and life? The number 3 in Tarot is the Empress. And this card is all about learning about loving yourself and then loving are caring for others. It is only by cultivating positive thoughts (number 1), then allowing the fertility and creativity of that thought to ground into the real world (number 2), can you then learn to share that joy and happiness with others (the number 3). Oh, God! Can you feel it? That cloudy thinking and confusion that shows you that Mercury is standing still and turning retrograde. Personally I seem to keep forgetting small things. Thank goodness it is not big things but remember that all the Mercury Retrogrades this year are in Air Signs so expect a few hiccups in the memory, brain organization, attention to detail reality. Needless to say with a Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius, communication can be tricky and it can be hard to focus on the facts, especially if you have been fuzzy in recent days. Mercury will remain retrograde until February 11th. During this time, your thinking is turned inward, as you will need to review and re-assess matters. This period is best used for re-organizing and reflecting. You will notice that the world is going to look a little differently, through different filters, but you might come up with some very important inner revelations. Mercury retrograde periods can be times of heightened inner awareness, when meditations deepen, and you might benefit from keeping a journal, reworking old plans, and reviewing your past choices. Minor breaks in the mechanical aspects of communication can actually re-connect us to other (possibly more meaningful) means of communication. A New Moon just occurred yesterday, so that in many ways you are looking ahead and moving forward, but with Mercury retrograde now, we’re also in a state of review. The Moon is in Aquarius all day.

Okay, here we go with a Mercury Retrograde. Know that if you are an Aquarius, Gemini, or Virgo, this might feel a bit bumpy. I am going to put this out ahead to remind all of us to back up computers and when you are working with electrical things to start by grounding yourself before you touch things, that includes driving your car. Remember to look out for spaced out people that are not paying attention. This is not the moment for playing chicken with someone on the road. Defensive driving is the name of the game till Feb 11th. For those of you with Aquarius or Mercury prominent in your chart with may be a bit bumpy, so make lists, stay organized, pay attention when around mechanical equipment, and keep calm. Because we are in the depth of winter (technically) some of you might feel a bit numb, which is how you are forgetting things and tripping over things. “Presence” is the motto and mantra for the next 3 ½ weeks.
