The number 5 is the number for life on this planet. It is the number that allows us to feel a part of this world, to have a body, and to learn through the challenges that this life generates. The number 5 looks to what is real and what is required from us at this time. We might need to put some things to the side just so we can manage to cope. And coping is what this number is about.
Sometimes things break down to the most basic of preferences for survival. That is clearly the case as we look out into the world. Learn to live with less rather than more. Learn to enjoy the simple things and do not lust after things that others have. Appreciate what you have now. Being thrifty is a good thing because living beyond your means will only make things much worse.
We look to family to keep us safe, but when we look out into the current world, we recognize that so many are hanging by a thread.
This is where in this moment be grateful for all that you have and recognize that the Fates can turn tides and cut lifelines in sudden and cruel ways.
Today, appreciate your life. Appreciate all life. Respect for all life only comes from a compassionate heart and that type of heart is grown through our own personal suffering and having the capacity to feel the suffering of others.
We are better people when we are able to see past our own wants and needs.
