In numerology, the number 4 seeks an inner place of calm and contentment. Balance is always neutral but learning to maintain that neutrality in the midst of so much global change is a huge problem currently. It feels as if so much wants to pull us off kilter and towards upset.

When we are young, and we have all those hormones operating, reacting feels strong, powerful, and it makes us feel as if we can “claim” our rights and territory. But as we age, we realize that doing that constantly in life promotes a type of misery that leaves us feeling exhausted. That is why maturity is often calmer and wants to watch, wait, and listen more before responding.
We live in a sensationally addicted society. Stepping back from that reality and coming back into what it means to be human can be tough. But learning how to step away and allow others to find their own path is important to finding and maintain peace and a healthy relationship to others, this world, and ourselves.
Today, take moments to stop, calm down, breathe, and become more whole first inside yourself. Let the rest of the world spin but you do not need to follow anyone other than your own deepest inner self.

Listen to the wind move through the trees, feel the changes happening on a subtle level as we move into spring. Allow something in nature to fascinate you and spend time exploring life itself rather than watching television.
Balance comes when we allow life to teach us rather than let the dramas of the human condition usurp our inner self.
