10/12/17 is the number 5. This number relates to the Hierophant card in the Tarot. That card asks you to look at your spiritual values and the rules of your society. Do you actually live by those rules or do you use those rules as a weapon against others? Life is attempting to teach all of us at this time. Life asks you to look deeper into the complex workings of life and the interconnectedness of all things. But if you prefer to live a life of rigidity and redundancy, you will lose the stability that this number is attempting to help you gain. It is through change and flexibility that we find stability. It is about listening to your 5 senses and acting from your body’s information gathering qualities. Not listening when so much is telling you requires a level of denial that is dangerous to yourself and those you love.

This morning, the Last Quarter Moon is exact, when the Sun in Libra forms a square to the Moon in Cancer. If you are experiencing a crisis of consciousness, you are not alone. There is so much that is not working at this time and yet there still seems to be no answers in how to constructively progress towards a unified goal. Something is being prepared but when there is this level of unconsciousness, I fear what the world is preparing for. It’s not the best time to start something new as on a global level as we are all descending into the dark and unconscious places from which we have hidden from the truth. Mercury forms a sextile to Saturn today, promoting a deliberate and efficient approach to the world around us. You want to get organized, make lists, attend to details, and making sound judgments and decisions. But in such emotional upset and chaos there seems to be an unending line of conflicts and issues to deal with. You want order and structure but that seems to not be forthcoming at this time. This is a time to communicate with those in authority and to speak seriously with them. It is going to be up to you to make connections with people or information that you are going to need today. Thursday evening supports pleasant conversations. The Moon is in Leo to start the weekend and that means open your heart and have some fun.

Sending resources and energy to all those fighting fires in California and other places. Clearly more resources are needed than is available at this time. I wish we had a government that had the capacity to act more quickly to help those all over. Puerto Rico is still suffering terribly, Texas also, and now the West has had so many fires for so long the resources are too few, too exhausted, and spread too thin. Sending love to all those fighting the fires and hoping for rain.
