Numerology/Astrology for 10/17/16

10/17/16 is the number 9. Completion is a way of living. It is not a choice but an absolute in the cycles of life, death, and rebirth that are part of the biological imperative of this planet. You cannot escape that you will have to let go. You will have to let go of hatred, resentment, love, joy, the past, the future, your life, and accomplishing some of those goals that will eventually seem out of reach. When you accept life in all its complexity and fullness you can learn to graciously let go. When you cannot let go, know that your ego is controlling you and ruling your life. It will continue to make up stories that upset you and cause you to react if it that method will keep you out of balance and out of an awakened state of consciousness. The Moon is in Taurus all day, and you discover that you are more aware of the sensual pleasures of life–eating, drinking, listening to music, and so forth. You can try to resist change and to fall back into old habits and patterns under this influence but you will be unable to hide your head in the sand again. A Sun-Neptune challenge this morning and you can temporarily lose focus. Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits is better than focusing on matters that require straightforward, factual thinking now. However, you are very willing to work on relationships or team up with others to take care of business. Later today and into tomorrow, you may be tempted to try to manipulate or control others and situations, which can lead to unnecessary troubles.

You cannot change what you do not have control over. You cannot control the flow of lessons that are set up for this planet and all the people involved. You can watch with compassion and acceptance and allow the truth to unravel the distortion whether that is destructive or constructive. Where do you stand in that unraveling process? Are you a destroyer or a co-creator? Just notice where you are standing and if that is a place that you karmically wish to hold as true. When you go against the flow of life and freedom the consequences are hard in this life time and in sometimes …. the next.
