Numerology/Astrology for 10/18/16
10/18/16 is the number 10. It is time to shine a bright light boldly into the new possibility emerging. How do we start again? How do we find power in seeing past our prejudices? How can we awaken to our personal slants and let them go for a moment and speak from the heart rather than the ego. Love is the only way through the hatred in the world. Love brings things together and makes miracles happen. Hate creates a toxic soup of destruction that we are then force-fed and then expected to like it. You know when something is not right for you. Listen and then trust what will serve others not yourself and your own personal agenda. It is time to stand for love and acceptance. That is the doorway that will serve all of life and all of humanity. That is a world that all of us could live in, not just a selected few. Venus enters Sagittarius this morning and will continue to transit the sign until November 11th. Moving from Scorpio to Sagittarius, romantic energy shifts from intense to buoyant (which at this point is a huge relief). Sagittarius, of course, has its intense moments, considering it is a fire sign. However, its energy is considerably less focused; and, while Scorpio is most concerned with intimacy with a particular person, Sagittarius’ love is of the universal kind. Romantic adventures, as well as a straightforward–even blunt–approach to love, are on the agenda. Gone are the intricacy and complexity of Venus in Scorpio. Truth and higher meaning are priorities with Sagittarius. Venus forms a semi-square with Pluto early today, and jealousies or possessiveness can emerge. The Moon continues its transit of earthy Taurus until 10:31 AM EDT when it enters cerebral, friendly Gemini. As the day advances, we come closer to a Mars-Pluto alignment in the sign of Capricorn – an ambitious, determined energy for building or rebuilding.

Quote
Shades of Intimacy
I saw magic flow through the room.
I saw men learn to make women swoon.
I saw what happens when passion moves up and through the heart.
I learned that anger does not need to tear you apart.
I learned that moments come when you must take a leap.
I learned to trust the flow, take a breath, and dive deep.
In that depth you discover what has held you back.
In that depth you discover your fear and what you believe you lack.
But it is right there just waiting for you to see.
If you are willing to allow your greatness to be.
Open you heart, let love in.
Open your mind so that new things can begin.
Let love be your guiding star.
Let that light shine bright from your heart.
In the end love is all there is.
Life is not some sort of crazy quiz.
You can only take what you truly give,
From an open heart let go and forgive.

Thank you to all the amazing couples at the last “Shade of Intimacy Workshop” up in Park City Utah this weekend. Thank you for bringing and sharing your many gifts in the world with each other in ways that enlivened and awoke others to the potential inside each of us to love in bigger and greater ways. It was such a joy for Jason, Jennie, Chris and Karlene Sunyata, and myself to be in such a room of open, wise, and willing individuals that decided to do some deep diving into the unknown realms inside their soul. And then from that discovery to bring that love and awareness back into their intimate partnership. It was a weekend of the most intense winds any of us have seen up there in the Park City area and there were times we felt that the Goddess of Nature was going to blow all of us right off the mountain. Saturday night the winds were so intense that to keep the doors closed, we literally had to hang onto them for the whole evening because it was as if Mother Nature herself wanted to fully participate in the weekend. And yes, there were storms of emotions and intense sharing experienced by all. In the end, as the storms inside our soul calmed down, it was all replaced with the love, appreciation, and acceptance that is the glue for total transformation. I want to thank each and every one of you that came for being willing to go through (at times) difficult places inside where fear, anger, and projection wanted to overwhelm the senses and suffocate the soul. I want to thank the men for being some of the best and most honorable men I have ever been in the company of. You held a tight container of presence and love and the women felt it so they could relax and move deeper into their feminine essence. I hope to create a world of such conscious and honorable men in the future. What an amazing world it would be if create consciousness, safety, and honor for all.
