Numerology/Astrology for 11/18/16

11/18/16 is the number 2. This is a day where once again, the negativity wants to overwhelm your psyche. Don’t let it. Step back from trying and step into the place of looking at what are your next steps in this dance of life. The world is going to do what it is going to do and if you feel pulled to jump into that chaos because it is part of your karmic work at this time then follow that impulse. But you can also shift energy by being centered and wakeful to the shifts internally and how your internal state is co-creating the outer illusionary world. If you feel pulled to do deep inner searching for your deepest self and clarity and that serves to move you through the karmic suffering you are to encounter in this life then do that. Each of us has our own way because each of us is working on different levels of consciousness on the inner and outer worlds. No matter what stay in a place of presence and move with the flow that your life is presenting at this time. Become like those birds in the sky that move as one being, responding to the external in a symphony of response to life. The Moon is in protective Cancer all day. Mercury and Neptune form a square, and you can find it difficult to follow or communicate facts, directions, and instructions. Be aware that your perceptions may be confused or too idealistic. Others are also prone to being influenced strongly by wishful thinking and figments of imagination. Conversations may be vague or you can leave them with more questions than answers. Fortunately the fog clears later today, so expect more clarity of purpose by late afternoon. The Moon ends its transit of Cancer at 10:15 PM EST, when it enters Leo.

Quote

As a basis for change, we need to recognize that as long as we live in this world we will encounter problems, things that obstruct the fulfillment of our goals. If, when these happen, we lose hope and become discouraged, we diminish our ability to face these difficulties. If, on the other hand, we remember that not just we but everyone has to undergo suffering, this more realistic perspective will increase our determination and our capacity to overcome troubles. By remembering the suffering of others, by feeling compassion for others, our own suffering becomes manageable. Indeed, with this attitude, each new obstacle can be seen as yet another valuable opportunity to improve our mind, another opportunity for deepening our compassion! With each new experience, we can strive gradually to become more compassionate; that is, we can develop both genuine sympathy for others’ suffering and this will to help remove their pain. As a result, our own serenity and inner strength will increase.

There is a deep sorrow that lives in this world.
It hungers to become a wind that is gnarled and twirled.
It beacons you to fall under its spell.
But what you think is a release is an exploding bombshell.
You can feel how it builds and you know what is coming.
The question is to what position are you drumming.
Do you beat the drum of war and hate?
Do you sing a song in hope of humanities fate?
There is a tear in the dimensions of time.
The duality has split more between yours and mine.
Yes, you can watch it tear itself apart.
Perhaps that is the only way to turn destruction into art.
You can feel that there is no middle path.
All roads are rocky, treacherous and a bloodbath.
The positions are extreme and strong.
Each one believes they are right and the others are wrong.
Is there hope for hate to transform?
If we cannot we will not survive this storm.
