Numerology/Astrology for 1/13/16
January 13th is the number 5. This number is all about making positive life choices. You are here on this planet to do more that just survive. You are here to learn how to thrive and become one with the rhythm and flow that is a part of nature. Mankind has such a brilliant brain that we can distract ourself from the “now” with many thoughts missing the essential elements that make life magical and a wonder to behold. It is up to you to learn how to take yourself beyond the thoughts and into the present as to what is really happening and see the magic that is in this moment and every moment potentially. When you step beyond your thoughts and into the truth that surrounds all things you discover that the magic has always been there and that your perception of it makes it real, makes it expand, and makes life more like those myths and stories of old. The Moon is in Pisces all day, which is generally good energy for drawing upon your intuition and putting a little more faith in the universe that things will fall into place. Be cared to not take faith too far this morning, however, with the Sun semi-square Neptune. You may be questioning your current goals as they temporarily go out of focus. This afternoon, however, you are more inclined to not only formulate plans and goals but to believe in them completely. A Sun-Jupiter trine encourages a desire to grow, expand, improve, and impress. Whether it’s a business, friendship, attitude, or relationship, you are inclined to want to bring your life somehow to a new level. Optimism and confidence are basic elements in the energy of this transit. Enthusiasm runs high, and cooperation comes easily.
Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue.
How often have I been saved at the last minute by “good luck”? Luck is an accumulation of positive energy or in Buddhism “good merits” from past actions. I love this philosophy that the good things you have done in the past help you in times of great need. That which you have given out to others you get back in many forms at the right time. Today, what good deeds can you do that will help you down the road in your life? What actions can you take that show compassion and unconditional love to others? I find the best time to practice compassion is when I feel the most down. Just in the act of giving there is a shift in the energy and not only do I feel better but from that moment on, life sometimes dramatically improves. My inner light shines brighter over brighter and hope returns.
