The Number 8 indicates that when we have compassion for others … we can discover the Divine within us. This number asks us to stay centered and open-hearted in a crisis. The bigger the challenge the more we are being asked to step outside the norm.
This moment reminds us that within each person there are light and dark sides. When we light polarize we do not have the self-awareness to see our weaknesses and inner shadow. That is when that which has been hidden will manifest externally in dramatic and frightening ways.

The overall tone of this moment is one of seriousness and that something very dark is trying to move through the world. Conflict comes when there are those that refuse to be pushed by others. They recognize that some wish to force others out of comfort. There are lines that each person cannot cross or will refuse because they know that in doing what another wants they will risk losing their own center and peace of mind. For some, that is worse than death. In that moment, there are always those that will come together to work towards a cause.

The darkness and tragedy of life seems painfully obvious, and it seems that many demons are demanding to be let in.
The forces of darkness must be invited in. When they are refused easy access, that is when the battles begin.

Astrology for Today

The Moon hangs in the intense and determined sign of Capricorn for half the day. Then it moves into Aquarius in the afternoon.

So, for the first part of the day, it is important to stay focused and pursue those things that call to your soul. The second half of the day requires us to be much more innovative and to think in broader terms.

The questions being asked are to look at the long-term implications of all actions. Consider the consequences carefully before initiating new things.
Juno and Chiron are moving in the direction of a sextile and that helps connections and relationships be gathered together so that strategies can be formed for a solid and concentrated effort.

Trust is strained and yet those connections of concern and support are deeply appreciated. Healing will come through in waves of energy designed to support the underdog.

True idealism needs to be sourced from a strong and peaceful sense of a future that gives back rather than takes.
