3/10/17 is the number 5. The number 5 is about getting your body/mind/soul/and essence in alignment with the natural flow. Earth is our mother and she is what sustains life. Earth is the creative clay upon which we can mold and manifest our dreams. But the question becomes, “Are you an active creative genius in the magic that is your life? Or are you passively allowing your life to unfold in the manner of karmic lessons and consequences?” One way is the warriors path, meaning that you consciously engage the energy and learn the dance that life is teaching you rather than be at the whim of the unconscious lessons that show up as powerful upsets and consequences. The other is the karmic path where you just float down the path of life and choose to not be as conscious as you could become, perhaps waiting for something…. A moment, an awakening, an epiphany, etc. Both ways are perfectly acceptable. One is passive and one is active. I believe in life we all have active moments that are then followed by passive ones. After all, waking up is hard to do.
All of your values, relationships, and material world needs are up for review this spring. Look at your activities to determine if you are doing them because you genuinely value them, or are doing them because it has become a habit. Be willing to experiment with new activities and people in your life to see if they hold future promise. On a constructive level, ambitious Mars moves into Taurus on the 9th until April 21. This hard-working combination can produce material results if you are willing to put effort into your needs and desires. For Spring Equinox on the 20th, there is an abundance of action signs and the fire element. That makes for a fast and busy spring so prepare to jump on the roller coaster! Passions will be heightened, be it in your personal life or in politics! Between March 23-26, communications planet Mercury is making several challenging aspects to outer planets, so allow room in your schedule for changing energies (and he is also in the preparatory shadow before turning retrograde on April 9).

Today, the Moon continues its transit of Leo until 5:08 PM EST when it enters Virgo. In Leo, the Moon is generous and authoritative. You are open-hearted but be careful under this influence of having too much pride. The Virgo Moon is a more exacting and analytical influence that is also helpful and practical right now, which might be very much appreciated. What has happened to compassion? I am not sure where it went but in a flash, it shifted out of the acceptable “norm” and into the wind while something else is toxically changing this world. Compassion has been replaced by a darkness that is about power, greed, manipulation, hatred, and superiority. As an American that got to live through the “hey day” of America it is a sad moment to realize that the times that I lived as “normal” for the moment are no more. There is a new world being created. It is one that I recognize from the history books. The ones that talk about the collapse of systems and governments. It is so classic in the information that has been handed down for centuries to teach and remind us but somehow that knowledge cannot seem to be taught…it has to be lived. No one could have believed that such a time could come so quickly to America. My father (who was a great man) warned me in 1978 that I was going to watch the fall of the Roman Empire and that it would be America. He said that it would take 50 plus years but we seem to be at a record breaking pace instead. He said that Democracy can only survive in an open-minded and well educated culture. That it is ignorance and those who believe lies and choose to project a life of self-importance that will be the souls who break the back of our fragile Democracy. I believed him at the time but I did not think it would happen so soon. It is amazing for me to see the incredible combination of intuition and knowledge that was my father. Today, I honor him and his wisdom and I am grateful that I am his daughter.
