Numerology/Astrology for 3/27/15

Today we are in the number 20/2. A First Quarter Moon occurs when the Sun in Aries forms a square with the Cancer Moon at 3:43 AM EDT. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase. And this complements the “Negative Mind” quality of the number 2. There is a feeling of wanting to go forward but being pulled back. You want to leap ahead (Aries) but the “Good Mother” of Cancer wants you to feel into all situations before you commit fully. So you might feel like you are in a tug of war with your heart and your head. This inner conflict can make you feel sick, exhausted, overwhelmed and generally unsure as to how to proceed. The advice is to take it slow. Remember that all your actions have a consequence right now so do not randomly make decisions as you will be generating a wave that affects not just you but all those around you. One part of you wants to take action. And within days we are made aware of how our actions affect those close to us. Whatever project or initiative you began around the New Moon is now off the ground and it may feel as if you are facing your first obstacles related to this idea. Venus squares Jupiter creating feelings of elation or restlessness in love. It can also lead you to overdo, overindulge, overspend, and overstate your feelings, so think carefully before you speak. Try to avoid impulsive spending and making decisions that show you to be arrogant and unfeeling. These aspects can cause you to procrastinate and yet you may be a little braver socially.

“It takes courage…to endure the sharp pains of self-discovery, rather than chose to hate the dull pain of unconsciousness that would last the rest of our lives.”

Life is tricky. What you believed that you were when you were a child, you still are. It is just that stress and situations pull you away from your authentic self. But if you look backwards with a discerning eye you discover that even when you thought you were not doing your “mission” or “purpose” you actually were. It is amazing how the mind and ego can make you believe that you are not what you think you are, that you need to be something that you are not. When all the while there it is, your true self shines through the muck and mud of life in glimmering moments of pure heart and love.
