I love this quote because when I was in my 20’s it was uncomfortable for me to be able to compliment others on their beauty and light. That was because I could not see my own or know how to compliment myself. However, age is a wonderful thing. As you get older you notice that it is a waste of precious time and energy to not notice the wonders that surround you all day. When you love yourself it is easy to appreciate the beauty that is all around you. Judgment disappears, criticism releases, and you are left with the compassionate appreciation of what is this moment. So challenge yourself today to appreciate 3 things. Really stop and see those three things. Pay attention to the details and the refined subtlety that makes each thing unique and special. When you can discern the specialness in each small thing you life will become more full and alive.
