Today’s astrology is complicated. Mercury’s retrograde cycle lasts until the 18th/19th and is spent entirely in the sign of Leo. During this cycle. It is time to review and reassess how you are moving power in your life. Mercury retrograde can heightened your inner awareness. The best use of this energy is through meditation, journaling, reworking old plans, and reviewing choices and decisions from the past. Under any Mercury Retrograde be more careful around communication and transportation. Do not click on anything questionable when you are on the internet. This time can serve you best if you operate almost from a place of paranoia when you are on the computers or on the phone. And try to communicate in the old fashioned, more meaningful ways of connecting. You might finally be looking at the world without your old filters, meaning that almost all things become a bit more suspect. There is the awareness that massive attacks on humanity are happening and you have to be awake to prevent you become caught in the power game that governments are waging against the common people. By now, you need to be looking at the world differently. Once you do that you will be able to come up with some significant inner revelations as a result.

The more difficult times are those moments as the shifts begin to happen and at the end of those cycles. So, put circles around today and August 19th. Be more vigilant during those days. Everyone eventually grows more accustomed to the energy. Delay critical decisions right now as you are also between two eclipses and Mars is retrograde as well.

The day is further complicated by a Sun-Saturn quincunx and a Sun-Mars opposition. You might not trust others or your external environment at all. You might not know what you want and therefore not know where to proceed. Even if you know what you want it will not be easy at this time to complete it or get to your goal. Do not be careless or impulsive around others. That may just backfire on you. After trying to pretend that “everything is going to be fine” for so long, today there is a sudden awareness that there are many things that have been making you unhappy, angry, and resentful. It is through such moments that you learn to cultivate a better understanding of yourself and what you want to be happy.
