Numerology/Astrology for 8/20/16

8/20/16 is the number 10. There is power in willingness to change. There is power and energy when you step outside your personal repetitive patterns. This is a day when your mind would love for you to try something new and to change a routine. What kind of shift are you ready for? What would be fun, edgy, different, and something out of your comfort zone? That is what this number 10 is asking for from you. With this astrology, I personally would stretch in the metaphysical, intuitive, artistic, or creative. This Pisces Moon will get your instinctual juices flowing if you let it. The Moon continues its transit of imaginative, compassionate Pisces until 3:19 PM EDT. Under the influence of a Pisces Moon, you may feel a little more sensitive to environmental stresses. Its opposition to Mercury and then Jupiter this morning can pull up questions about the meaningfulness of your communications and recent projects. Mercury and Jupiter are moving towards an alignment in Pisces’ opposite sign, Virgo, and today’s aspects can seem to pit intuition against logic. The Moon’s move into Aries this afternoon can feel on the abrupt side, as is often the case when the Moon moves out of a Water sign and into a Fire sign. However, it can stimulate more clarity and a stronger desire to put something in motion. It’s also a time for feeling the need to begin anew. Your pioneering instincts are strong.

Quote
Either you believe in change and the possibility of humanity actively and energetically working in that direction or peaceful co-existence or you are a person who is working against manifesting a world where we can all live together in peace and harmony. Can you see how your words, actions, and prejudices keep negativity on this planet and continue the discrimination and suffering of this world? Each of us is responsible for opening to life or closing down to life. Closure is not attractive. Closure is painful not just for yourself but also others. Closure prevents change. Being attached to a position closes you off from an infinite world and limitless options that are actually right at your fingertips.

When I close it actually hurts. Especially if I am not so angry that my anger makes me feel justified in my action of shutting down the world, others, and the integration of more and new information. Do you notice when you close down and how it feels? Are you more willing to be in pain than freedom? Are you more willing to defend an indefensible position because your ego needs to be right? Can you see what is really the “right” thing to do? Are your actions promoting inner peace and harmony or are they promoting suffering either in yourself or others? I am amazed at how many people will choose to hold onto pain and be “Right” than to have freedom, peace, and harmony by admitting that they were wrong and to change. Which one are you right now? Can you see where you are holding onto pain? Have you talked to that pain and discovered what it is trying to teach you? Let the pain go. Let the ego know that your body is not a dumping ground for its positions and perspectives. The ego has a place but when it is causing your body pain, it is time to do something different.
