8/7/18 is the number 8. The number 8 make us reflect on the greed, tactlessness, and moral superiority that those in power place upon those they feel are beneath them. Always watch for the sneering faces of those that wish to place your feelings below their own agenda. And never trust those that use principles of fear and domination to control. This number is the Strength Card in the tarot and as such it is the eternal sign of Leo. We have stories and myths by the hundreds that reflect upon the prince that does not know he is a prince. But through hard work, support of the people, magical and spiritual signs, and the grace that comes from accepting who you are regardless of who or what you want, he accepts the will of the people and the accepting of responsibility of his position and power. The number 8 reflects that you should never trust those whose clear aim is the addiction of more and more power. Such people are not her for the people but for the glorification of self. Such people cannot and will not make choices that serve the greater good, only themselves. Today, you may feel like you are challenged by those who are belligerent, manipulative, angry, and judgmental. Do your best to stand calmly as the truth and as the compassionate heart that has the clarity to show the way. Today, your feelings and internal visions may feel confused and you may not know what is actually completely real. Someone is probably going to misunderstand what you are trying to say. For some that might be intentional and on purpose. For others it is just misguided beliefs and thoughts that rearrange things so they can do battle externally to justify the internal defensiveness that is felt internally.

Be careful because this energy can get out of control quickly. Avoid making choices and decisions that are long term. Right now, make moment by moment choices and be willing to shift and adjust with the changing tides and circumstances.

If things are moving smoothly, let them! If your ideas are standing on solid ground, let them run. You cannot completely break the mold of dysfunction that is happening but you can crack the shell a bit.

Take some time to feed the more spiritual side of your nature, which has been taking a pounding for a long time. Remember, that which you feed, grows.

Your own needs might feel at odds with your family and friends at this time. That is okay. Make yourself the priority. Don’t worry if others label you as insensitive or uncaring. You know it is not really true.

There is a subtle type of undermining going on in your world at this time. There is tension in certain relationships. It can feel vaguely frustrating, make you feel powerless, and tense. Wait for certain energies to subside before moving ahead. Especially, if your body is staying “Stop”. Then you need to listen and stop.

When you feel like you have to defend and protect yourself from negativity that surrounds you, it can then be difficult to express tenderness, care, and concern also.

Just notice, with an objective and calm mind, others grandiosity. The more you observe it the less appealing it becomes.

Yet, show restraint also in confronting such energy. Everything in life is timing and now is not the time.

There is a problem-solving energy happening that feels moments of great accomplishment with small challenges and projects. Focus there. The bigger things will come later.

Notice those in your life that make choices as an avoidance to an uncomfortable situation or personal encounter. Keep it simple in your head, “If there is a will there is a way!” Meaning, that if you were really that important then it would have happened.

Notice that and recognize that the choice and decision was made by another as an avoidance to a type of uncomfortable engagement that was going to show vulnerability.

Sometimes, people are not ready, even when their mind wants them to be ready. Let that go and let that be okay. It might have just showed you something that you felt for a long time but now you see clearly.
