Poem – What God Sees

Do you ever wonder what god sees.
In the moments we ask with reverent pleas.
I believe that as we look up to that higher hope.
Time stops to allow magic to become a telescope.

It is in that moment when thoughts and feelings align.
That we touch the part of ourselves that is more divine.
That power allows in heaven a bell to sound.
That something is awakening and becoming profound.

As we look up, our soul believes in something more.
We stop the fighting and stop trying to settle a score.
Because deep inside in special moments something glows.
And we begin to remember this illusion we chose.

It is our spirit that has the wings.
It is our soul that knows many things.
It is our heart that longs to remember how to fly.
It is our mind that dreams of the clouds in the sky.
