Poem – The Beginning of All Breakthroughs

Watching that first ballet at the age of five.
Sparked a passion that never did die.
It merged in me … something that was beyond this time.

It allowed a remembrance to begin to chime.

I have followed that sound throughout my life.
It showed me the doors through all the pain and strife.

Passion is the key that will open all the doors.

Passion is the light that will not be ignored.

While those passions will be … required to change.

Those passions will never die and lead us toward the strange.
What is strange will become the gift.

What is unusual will support a shift.

Out of the old and into something new.

That is the beginning of all breakthroughs.
