1 + 5 = 6

The Number 6 reminds us that the outer perception is often not aligned with the inner truths that are a part of our core selves. Too often in life, external circumstances pull us off the path and distract us from what we came to do. It is too easy to become so focused on the opinions of others that we begin to believe that their perceptions have more value over our own true self.
Nothing could be more from the truth. While I understand there is a level of growth that everyone needs to go through around belonging, there is also a place where we must at a certain point, recognize that our individuality has great value and that we should embrace those unusual aspects and allow them to be shared in the world. That way, we get feedback and learn to refine and hone how that truth is presented and also discover if we are feeding a false self or a true self. After all the self that grows is the one you feed.
