2/20/2024 is the number 12

2 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 12
1 + 2 = 3

The Number 3 wants to laugh out loud. This is a number that wants to smile so brightly that one’s eyes squint and almost close because the cheeks are pulling so hard on the mouth. This is a number that loves to be silly, embraces the ridiculous, and applauds the spontaneous.
Humanity pays too much attention to the terrible things in life and not enough attention to those small things that bring joy and happiness.
We have been trained to react to the terrible but to not remember to look for those silent souls who do the right things … again and again.
And we do not recognize those small kindnesses that we give to others that may or may not go unnoticed.
Today, notice where you do the right thing even when it is difficult. Notice those moments when your compassion is stronger than your ego and reaches out to help in small ways that show you care.
Perhaps it is time to create a memory bowl. This is a place where you write down on a small piece of paper what you did today that helped another, whether that was an animal, a person, or any living thing, and put it in that bowl.
So, when you are feeling down about yourself, you just go over to the bowl and dump it out and read some of those moments again, to remind yourself how often you have tried to help and that now (with these reminders) you are being asked to learn to embrace this difficult moment by being that kind to yourself.
It is often easier to be kind to others over ourselves. Just remember that you have more value that just what you can give to others.
