Today is a number 3 day and it feels like a rallying cry from far away. We are being asked to come together and to help. But to do that we have to hear the call and then respond to the call.
I find many may pretend that they do not hear the call at all. While others become afraid to respond to that request.
This number always reminds us to see both sides in life. There are good possibilities and difficult options that must be faced when we are asked to respond. There is always the risk when we respond that something may die. Most often it is our ego that must die and that is not a bad choice. Sometimes to do the right thing our comfort and safety must die. And that is something that many refuse to risk. But life was never supposed to be easy or safe. Nature is quite brutal and mankind is often more cruel than nature.
Today, there is a bit of excitement in the air, as we realize that we need to respond to something, but we can also fear that we may not be up to the task. When we allow the fear to have greater power over our actions than our soul, we become cowards or heartless.
In moments, we must choose a path. I find that I tend to decide to choose a path that will allow me to find growth over safety. That has lead me on some wild goose chases. But the wisdom I learned from those moments is priceless and the stories I have to tell are astounding. I would rather risk and try then live a boring life.
Passion is a fire that keeps your soul alive and warm. Without passion a soul begins to curl up and become a stone. Passion keeps us from allowing fear to freeze us to death.
