The Number 10 reminds us in being human we will encounter many egos seeking power. Such egos will try to usurp the power of others and put others down because they will have to use cruelty and malice to get their way. The negative form of the number 10 will show those that inflict their will upon others rather than use integrity to see what is needed for the greater good and learn to work together.

In the negative this number is an expression of the Seven Deadly Sins

Egos that only seek power intend to destroy things, as that is always easier than to create great things that will stand the tests of time.

Today, notice from where your intentions arise. If your intentions are just for power and to get what you want, you might want to reconsider your choices and actions.

Having power just for the sake of power is a form of avarice and greed. In fact, all of the Seven Deadly Sins are obvious aspects of power moving from ego rather than essence.

The Seven Deadly Sins:

Pride: Excessive belief in one’s abilities and qualities with the need to constantly express that superiority and the desperation to have others recognize it.

Envy: Wanting what others have or that they earned. Expressing jealousy and resentment for the abilities of others.

Gluttony: Inability to regulate ones wants and needs. This expresses as over-consumption and excessive indulgences that are outside of the socially acceptable norms. The constant need to be surrounded by valuable things that are intended to show off one’s superiority. The desire to acquire devotion from those deemed inferior. The need to constantly have what one wants in each and every moment.

Greed: Excessive attachment to material objects, wealth, and power. An insatiable appetite stemming from never really having enough.

Lust: The belief that one can have everything one wants sexually to fulfill one’s physical desires. Even if it harms others or is inappropriate. The desire to get what one wants without empathy or considering the feelings of others.

Sloth: A person who is innately lazy. A person who prefers play over work. A person who feels no sense of duty to others.

Wrath: A person who expresses deeply suppressed hatred and anger at particular groups or individuals that do not see things their way. A person whose mind focuses on revenge and will always lean into more destructive actions.
