Poem – Love’s Silken Threads

Love, a silken thread, that pulls opposites into a dance of attraction,
It lures us toward the cliffs, a siren’s call to oblivion.
It weaves hopelessness to a lifeline of celestial starlight,
Transforming secrets into a molten flow of liquid passion.

In its gentle embrace, disparate elements seek to entwine,
Creating a tapestry of emotions, a masterpiece of longing.
Every heartbeat becomes a symphony of passion’s sweet refrain,
Love orchestrates a dance, where joy can waltz with sorrow.

A fusion of souls, the curious alchemy of a kiss,
Love paints the canvas of humanity with hues of celestial songs.
It whispers promises in the rustle of skin on sheets,
Binding destinies together with an essential ease.

In the quiet moments, it’s a serenade of tender sighs,
An echo of emotions that beneath the surface smolders.
Love, the almighty weaver, crafting tales forever youthful as well as old,
In its silken threads, the eternal story begins and never ends.

Love frees the souls for moments that escape gravity’s hold.
It matters not if the eyes have dimmed with age and the hands have become stiff.
In the thralls of love, we are again and forever young.
We are at one with and inside the flow that we know will take us home.
