Poem – Time To Celebrate 

The fairy glen is ready, and the decorations are complete.
The old man’s face is in the tree and the fairies have houses to sleep.
Today, we celebrate life and living in this beautiful place.
It is a time to slow down and not be a part of the rat race.

We are here to celebrate nature and all that she provides.
We are here to remember that on this earth we reside.
Because of that we have responsibility to care for her as she cares for us.
Nature asks little, but this is the time to make a bit of a fuss.

After all, we are in the month of Beltane, we are here to embrace the essence of spring.
We are in the time of planting and the promise of rings.
Today what can you do to make your yard a place for man and creatures big and small.
Remember that we are here to support one and all.

Don’t forget to dance and make life colorful and full.
Remember to share what you have and to plant seeds by the handful.
Within the boundaries of appropriate interchange.
Give your heart more power and range.

Celebrate the season of rebirth and the return of the light.
Set your sights to new and even greater heights.
Not to make the ego happy but to let others in.
It is time to let love fill you to the brim.
