Poem – Love’s Pas de Deux

 

In the realm where movements intertwine,

A dance of contrasts, becomes a harmony that shines.

Masculine and feminine, though poles apart,

Can be bound by love, though it is a delicate art.

 

In ballet, the Pas de Deux, is a sensual embrace,

Where hands seek hands, and intimacy is chased.

Body parts intertwine, and become a symphony of touch,

Searching for union, as passions cling and clutch.

 

The breath, the sounds, move to the music’s beat,

Life’s rhythm stirs emotions intense and so sweet.

Two souls converging, their bodies in sync,

Creating new songs, as their spirits link.

 

A Grande Pas de Deux, is love that is wise,

Listening, and understanding, is where beauty lies.

Accommodating moods, even when temperaments fair,

Space to soar, to reach something so very rare.

 

Permission is the fuel to seek greater heights,

A love that transcends, and in movement delights.

Embodying values of that can be human grace,

Perfection is found in the most tender embrace.

 

This dance tells a tale of unity and care,

Of love’s expression, a bond that is beyond compare.

Masculine and feminine, no longer two,

In harmony they move, as love’s pas de deux.
