Poem – Paris – The Past – And Connecting with Spirit
I am on my way into the past.
The story is written and the dye is cast.
I wait on spirit to guide the way.
I listen closely for what they will convey.
A long time ago, Paris was one of my homes.
I go once again to reclaim what still roams.
Parts of myself still linger in another time.
They call to me from deep in the sublime.
Old friends wait in ornate Russian graves.
I embrace all the moments with this Tartar knave.
I wonder if he will walk with me in this new dance.
I wonder if I will bump into him by happenstance.
My feet wander along the cobblestoned ways.
As at this moment I am at a crossways.
Life has brought me full circle once again.
I have nothing to lose and nothing to win.
I seek to find how my path has become whole.
I know that I remember my essence within my soul.
So now it is a moment to remember and smile.
As I walk along the picturesque cobblestoned miles.
