Poem – The Curtain Closed and a Healer is Born

Poem – The Curtain Closed and A Healer was Born

The curtain closed … yet life must go on.
All the passion and fury to which I was drawn,
Was gone in an instant, shockingly fast.
Something so imitate could not possibly last.

We are what we give … in blood, sweat, and tears.
We are so much more than our insecurities and fears.
But in every life, there is a moment that the winds of change.
Take what once was and decides to completely rearrange.

The passion and fire that burned once inside.
Turned to healing as a method to open and guide.
And with each tool that I learned to use.
The dancer inside became a masseuse.

Now, I dance on the bodies and souls.
Of those who need something that inside I still hold.
And together we flow into the lands of peace.
Where souls can expand, and love will forever increase.

That day the curtain closed a healer was born.
And she did not have time to complain or mourn.
There was much to do and many people to see.
And together we leaped into the fray with renewed delight and glee.
