Poem – The Laughter of Symphony in D

 

Symphony in D, a ballet so bright,

A comedy of dance with pure delight.

Classical music guides the way,

As dancers prance about and delight in play.

 

Crazy striped costumes with suspenders,

Make the audience laugh and surrender.

Quirky sides are free to roam,

In this playful space of home.

 

Outrageous moves and silly faces,

Fill the stage with playful graces.

Laughter echoes throughout the hall,

As dancers cannot help but answer the call.

 

A space of permission to let go,

And to let the laughter overflow.

For in the ballet, Symphony in D,

Insanity is the answer and the key.

 

So let the dancers play and jest,

As they bring joy and happiness.

For in this ballet so very bright,

Laughter reigns supreme for this night.
