Quote – We Are Our Own Game

We created our own personal game
of “Dungeons and Dragons”.
We created the monsters that keep
others out and away from us.
We locked our sacred and magical parts
away from others and hid the keys.
But it then will be up to us to remember
where we hid those keys,
get past the monsters,
and open those doors.
Otherwise, no one will
be able to figure out
the complicated mechanisms
to our deepest self.
