Poem – Believe Another’s Truth and One Loses the Game
As the waves rolled me up from the sand and coral.
I find myself in a powerful mental quarrel.
The road ahead is windy and rough.
And part of me feels like it … has had enough.
I watch and I listen to the waves flowing all around.
I marvel at the cacophony of the patterns as consciousness astounds.
I see the waves that roll off the minds of some.
I wish for them to become less numb.
But I know, what I ask, would be torture for those.
That cannot see that they are naked underneath their egos clothes.
I watch and wonder at the configurations that the mind twists into fears.
And I know that it is best to not get so very near.
Because what they want is to ensnare us in their bubble of perception.
And such a thing will always lead towards great deception.
Believe another’s truth and one loses the game.
That guarantees that those tears, will fall like rain.
So let it rain … if your heart is not strong.
Let it storm until you know … you are wrong.
Let the fear protect what once … was.
And let the truth hang in the air … just because.
Truth does not need to fight to win.
Truth is where all awareness will finally begin.
