Poem – When Life Brings Storms

When life brings storms and winds so wild,

And darkness seems to reign unchecked,

We can find comfort like a child,

And remember that in retrospect.

 

For though the tempests rage and roar,

And waves threaten to overwhelm,

There are angels evermore,

Whose love and power are always at the helm.

 

With wings of white and eyes of light,

They come to our defense each day,

And guide us through the darkest night,

To safety and shelter, when we have gone astray.

 

So let the storms of life draw near,

And test our faith and strength within,

For we know the angels are here,

To give us strength and a thick skin.

 

And though the winds may toss and turn,

And lightning strikes both far and near,

We can trust that we are to learn,

As we move towards a new frontier.

 

So let us face the storms with grace,

And know that angels will come to our aid.

For they will help us find our place,

And show us our own charade.
