Numerology/Astrology for 12/20/15
December 20th is the number 4. Balance and the number 4 is the key to navigating this time as we come into Christmas. On Christmas Day there will be a lot of positive changes to move forward but to get there we have to deal with the erratic tempos of the planets as they move at a pace that is going to be challenging for most of us. Regular routines get tossed aside and the uneven pulse makes sleep not very possible either. So the way through this is to find a rhythm that allows for the constant adjustments and a sharp mind that is going to notice things and be able to anticipate to the best of your ability. Do your best to not respond to others reactivity as they are under a lot of pressure and as this Uranus comes out of retrograde on Christmas Day it feels much like a Mercury retrograde and the computers (as well as electrical equipment) are not going to cooperate. The Moon continues its transit of independent, competitive Aries until 7:13 PM EST, when it enters Taurus. While the Aries Moon favors a direct approach to the world, a Mars-Neptune challenge this afternoon can stimulate the opposite. You may feel that the route to your goals and desires is going to take a lot longer than planned and you would be correct. This can cause you to feel disorganized and confused. This can also make you act upon an impractical fantasy or an unusual impulse. With a square between Mercury and Uranus today as well, your senses are stimulated, and you could have sudden flashes of insight and some fresh new ideas. It may be a challenge to deal with routine matters or monotonous tasks. This is not a good time for understanding where others are coming from so you may want to hold off presenting your ideas for the moment. This pattern causes new information to upset the status quo but it can also act to stimulate your mind into new ways of thinking.

I picked this quote today because patience is a hard won quality when there is so much happening in the world. We want others to see what we see and agree with our reality but it is never possible to give others our perspective because all of us have had different lives, karmas, parents, and lessons. We each learn in our own time. We each have to work through the blockages that we came to work through, and we are never done with a pattern until we become so miserable that we finally change. It is us that needs to change in trying moments. The past patterns must be broken down so that newer and better behaviors can come forth. When you stop trying to make the world fit into your pictures and start appreciating the patterns that the world is offering up like a banquet for your wonder, joy, and pleasure, life becomes a much better experience.
