Numerology/Astrology for 1/26/15

Today is the number 8. Take the potential power of the Sun which represents the number 8 and combine it with the qualities of strength, professionalism, good judgment, and discernment and you will be able to navigate today with more grace and flow. It is a day to connect all the dots and to take control of the mental chaos of this Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius. Use the mental clarity that is presenting to break down the barriers to your transformation. Life takes courage to follow your vision. If each of us was willing to have the courage to not just have an opinion but also had the courage to research the truth rather than repeat information from others without checking the facts then the conflicts in life would be much less. All this fire and air right now is giving you the power to get the clarity that you are seeking. The Moon continues its transit of Aries until 11:38 AM EST, when it enters Taurus. Venus semi-squares Pluto this afternoon, which can stimulate underlying tensions in social interactions and relationships. There can be hidden agendas, jealousies, or power plays. A First Quarter Moon occurs when the Sun in Aquarius forms a square with the Taurus Moon late today, at 11:48 PM EST. There is a crisis theme surrounding any quarter Moon phase, as you feel compelled to take action. Shortly after, you will be made aware of how your actions affect those close in your life. There is a feeling of learning through trial and error. Whatever project or initiative you began around the New Moon is now off the ground but you may face your first obstacles in relationship to it.

Continuing the conversation that I started yesterday about the 3 wounds, (abandonment, shame, and betrayal), today I want to focus on abandonment. When your core wound is abandonment the feeling in the body is coldness. It is shocking how each wound will affect the body in different ways. Yesterday’s wound “betrayal” heats up the body because of the need to defend your position and the anger that is the reaction internally and how that activates certain centers in the body. Today’s word “abandonment” affects digestion. When you feel abandoned you literally cannot “stomach” the feeling and so you will tend to feel cold internally and it activates patterns internally that cause fibromyalgia, thyroid problems, colitis, anxiety, and fear. That is because if you were not deeply loved by your family when young you may not have ever felt safe. We all need safety to grow and thrive. But in households where there is not enough love and acceptance then you never feel like you are completely on the planet and if you never felt welcomed here you will feel like your grounding was never stable. Not feeling safe is the core issue of around anxiety disorders and the problem lies deep in the psyche from the childhood patterns of family and how we interpreted the emotions of love and acceptance all around us. Today, feel into the places where you felt alone and abandoned. Then reach beyond this life and feel into the support of your angels and guides and realize that you are never alone and there is energy all around you holding and supporting you on this journey. Claim the power of your own grounding and choose to not abandon yourself when you feel afraid or not safe. Talk to yourself and find the place of safety and security inside and see that you can exude that feeling of love and understanding to others right now. Often the lesson is to realize that what you did not experience in your childhood becomes the gift that you can give to others. When you see that others are safe with your heart and your love and you choose to never abandon yourself in any situation regardless of if someone is putting you down then you break the cycle of abandonment and healing will open. In that moment you will feel like you do belong, you are fully here on this planet, and this place could be a wonderful playground for discovery.
