1/9/18 is the number 3. In this dark time of the year, souls seek the light and life-giving energies that sustain us through such times. For me it is always music, dance, poetry, expression, compassionate service, and finding ways to reach out and care authentically that help me personally get through such times. It is not about what I get but what I have to give that makes me feel better. None of us are here to get everything we want. We are here to be love and to give as much love as you can, as fully as possible, and with as much presence as is possible. Those thoughts allow the positive to flow through the roller-coaster of life. No matter how evolved you think you are, life will continue its ups and downs. In the downs, be a way-shower through the density by giving of what you have. That is how you pull yourself to a higher level and become an inspiration to others also seeking a way up and out of their own emotional quagmire.

The week begins with the moon in diplomatic Libra and the life-giving sun aligned with romance planet Venus. This is a great combination for relationships and/or challenging conversations. Be aware that these same “nice” planets align with intense Pluto on Tuesday, so you need to be the velvet covered hammer early in the week. Be kind but do not be a wimp. The Sun, Venus, and Pluto align in the sign of Capricorn, and this can mark a critical turning point for all your relationships, businesses, ambitions, or projects. Do your best to reawaken to the beauty of life all around you. Fresh energy is brought to your close relationships, and a new take on how you see psychological development and growth is likely now your feelings and fears become clearer. Issues of power and control can arise. As the day advances, Venus and the Sun form sextiles to Mars (Sun sextile Mars perfects very shortly into tomorrow), encouraging cooperation. There is a very strong desire to harmonize, create something wonderful, and connect creatively. You can naturally take action on those plans and ideas that have been swimming around in your head. There is also more confidence in problem-solving and decision making. The Moon continues its transit of relationship-focused Libra until 3:06 PM EST, after which the Moon is in Scorpio.
