2/7/17 is the number 10. Power comes from radiance and radiance comes from aligning with your center. You are more effective if you are completely congruent between your mind/body/and spirit. The number 10 is not about maintaining old patterns but about embracing new directions and ways of doing things. Whenever you step into the 10/1 New Beginning energy of these numbers there can be a feeling of awkwardness because you are trying something different and you are not an expert at those energies. Creation is happening and it often looks like lava creating new land. At first it is hot and the energy burns away the old. This is a number of tenacity and moving with raw force towards a new goal. On the negative side, this number can be intolerant, conceited, narrow-minded, lack empathy for what others are feeling, being passive/aggressive, and being arrogant and superior. All things to watch out for as this day moves forward.

After an extended stay in the sign of Capricorn, Mercury enters Aquarius today, where it will transit until February 25th. While Mercury is in Aquarius, you desperately seek knowledge and want to open to new and original ideas. It is a wonderful time to think outside of the box and to allow your thinking to become more progressive and objective. Your communication and thought patterns are spontaneous, somewhat fragmented, and liberal. This is a time when you can be very inventive and creative. You seek truth and are not afraid to stir up some controversy in order to find it. You are less impressed with what is tried and true, and more interested in improvement and innovation. The Moon enters Cancer early in the day pulling you to want to  seek out comfort and familiarity, although this may be in conflict with your desire for new experiences with Venus and Mars in Aries.
