Numerology/Astrology for 5/18/17

5/18/17 is the number 6. As you drop into the stillness of your center you feel as if there is a place of rest that is necessary now. You have put out so much energy over the past 6 months and finally there is movement that is happening without your energy needing to be a concerted effort to move things along. So, while the energy is moving on its own take a break and allow for a deep introspection to happen and to look at the toll your energy expenditure has taken on your body. Then do something today to give back some of that energy to yourself. Go get a massage, go on a picnic, take a walk along a creek, etc. Allow for the angels and guides to help you find that place of peace and regenerate some of what you have lost.
The Sun forms a sextile with Chiron today, and you can feel a shift in the air and energetically you are a little stronger, more empowered, and purposeful as a result. You have an opportunity to reclaim your personal “mission” again and all the effort you have put in is finally seeing a bit of movement, increasing your confidence. The desire to learn and grow through experiences and others is strong. Problem-solving is favored with this combination as you see issues holistically. This increases after the Moon enters Pisces at 11:53 PM EDT. Also, today, the Last Quarter Moon occurs at 8:34 PM EDT when the Sun in Taurus forms a square with the Moon in Aquarius. The Last Quarter Moon phase points to a possible crisis of consciousness. After basking in the awareness symbolized by the full light of the Moon at the time of last week’s Full Moon, you are feeling more confident in that inner knowing. You begin to see what’s working and focus in that direction to continue that transformation. Know that we are also moving towards an exact Saturn-Uranus trine — a longer-term aspect that helps you to successfully bridge the traditional with the new, the old with the new, and security with change or progress. Perhaps there is finally an attempt to move in the direction of center.

Sometimes you think you want something,
when in reality you need to let it go.

I dreamed the Statue of Liberty breathed a sigh of relief.
Her head dropped in a countenance of grief.
Her torch she held up so high
Dropped in exhaustion down to her side.
The dream upon which she stood for so long
Had been under attack and her Constitution wronged.
She stood straight and tall while they targeted her people.
She did not waiver in protecting the steeple.
The crown upon which she rested her head
Did not get there because she was afraid of what others said.
She has weathered a storm that she has not seen.
Since the moment she was created and made into our Queen.
Never has she held the laws so tight to her breast,
Protecting it with her heart and the time she did invest.
She had gathered the tired and poor at her feet
As they cried out in despair fearing defeat.
But she knew in her heart that her position was true.
She knew she had to fight against tyranny and the rich few.
She stood for a country that was not about the wealth.
She stood for a moral compass and a commonwealth.
On her face the tears are permanently stained.
Regardless of the freedoms that Republicans had chained.
She stood in silence to witness to their unprecedented cruelty and rule
She knew that her ideas were not those of a fool
She saw that the representatives had been bought,
By the lobbyists who wanted to take from those that had not.
Those that had not the power to protest.
Those that were ill, hurt, or distressed.
Only the darkest hearts tear down the weak.
Only the cruelest use laws as tweets.
But for a moment she took a breath
And sat down to reflect and rest.
In a moment she will stand straight and tall.
When she hears that truth again is the call.
She might be made of metal and wood
But she is the symbol upon which this country stood.
