Numerology/Astrology for 5/22/15
Today is the number 8. Grief, death, transformation, sorrow, and loss are in the flow today, so take a breath and be willing to dive into the free fall of the abyss. Change comes from your willingness to admit the truth to yourself and to reach out for help. The Moon continues its transit of Cancer until 5:43 PM EDT, when it enters Leo. The Sun’s annual opposition to Saturn occurs today, and you may experience a reality check of sorts. Interventions of all sorts and flavors will manifest when you least expect it. Your confidence may be undermined by feelings of doubt, pessimism, or guilt. Admit it you are feeling blocked, encountering obstacles to progress, and inhibitions feel right on the surface. While there can be some a feeling of being letdown at first, in the end you will discover that there is more love available if you are willing to reach out your hand. Your efforts to measure up to expectations can ultimately increase your confidence in your ability to be responsible for yourself. Focusing too much on your feelings may not be very productive right now. This is a time for reevaluating goals, taking into better account the limits of time and energy. It can be a good time for developing real solutions to long-term problems. At this time, you may recognize the need to adopt a humbler, more mature, and possibly more conservative approach.

Quote
Question to Adyashanti: “Isn’t liberation ultimate stopping or resting? If one never lands, what does that life look like?”

Adyashanti’s answer: “Liberation is not stopping it’s cessation. The two are very different. Cessation means extinction. It means the death of identification. Stopping implies no motion, while cessation is the end of struggle. Stopping is what you do when the traffic light turns red. Cessation of struggle is like free-falling through space without a care in the world.”
