8/15/20 is the number 9.
If you add the 8 + 1 + + 5 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 18.
1 + 8 = 9.
It is time to explore those talents that have been latent for too long. It is time to discover how much more there is of you. Art is a journey of self-discovery and focus. It takes you into the silence and stillness where creation waits. I have had people tell me that they are going to be a famous musician. That always excites me. And I ask, “Wonderful! What instrument do you play?”
And they reply, “Oh, I don’t play anything but I am going to be a famous musician!”

When I probe further, I ask, “Okay so do you write music or do poetry for songs?”

And they respond again, “No. I just know I am going to be a famous musician!”

That is where you realize how gapped a person is from this reality.
To make great art, you have to practice and do an amazing amount of follow through.
Art doesn’t just happen. It is a pathway into the magical domains of the uncharted places within your own soul.
The Number 9 is all about the exploration that opens you to the places that creation resides. You are designed to be a highly creative being. You have only the limitations that you place on yourself. This is a unique moment in time. You have time to do some things that are less familiar. The universe has given you this opportunity for self-discovery. You do not want to be an old person with nothing to do but to watch television and talk about your past. But to avoid that destiny you could, right now, step past self-consciousness and your fear of not being good enough, and just give something…. Anything a try. Why do we think that retirement is going to be that moment when we will finally be able to discover a hidden talent? For some it will be too late and they will hesitate too long and miss a golden opportunity. This is a global opportunity for change. What kind of world might be created if all this energy were focused into positive things that give beauty to the world? What kind of world would it be if no one cared about the insane rhetoric happening in the news and instead went into nature and did something that created beauty and showed the unique perspective of someone’s depth?

I want to see that world. And we have more time than ever before to explore a whole new way together.
And in the process have a lot of fun. This world needs more feminine flow and intuitive joy.

Astrology Today

Uranus turns retrograde, so get ready to expect more unexpected events. Because this is a slow moving outer planet that spends months in retrograde, it may give some of us a chance to catch up and regroup. It is retrograde until mid-January and has the agenda to help us all prepare for the many explosive changes that will be happening in 2021. Retrogrades make us go inward and get in touch with those illusive places that might have been incomplete and holding us back. It gives us a chance to reconnect to the love inside that wants to live more spontaneously and from our powerful authentic heart.

There are shifts happening this week that challenge you to adjust your inner and outer tension. Think of it like tuning a piano. You have to  have some tension to make beautiful music. Too little tension makes no music and instead sickening sounds. It is up to us to find that delicate balance.

There is a quincunx between Pluto and the Sun early in the morning and it adds to one layer where we have to make changes in this very tense world. There is a sadness in the loss of so much in such a short period of time. Know that some people might feel jealous of what some have that others do not have. Be kind. Be generous when possible.

I warned that all of the outer planets would be in retrograde until mid-September, and here we are. Since there are obvious slowdowns and delays everywhere in the astrology, you might as well take some time for yourself. I personally am amazed and how many things are taking so much time and how the I fix one thing and another thing breaks or needs my attention.

The Moon is in Cancer asking us to focus on family and those that we love. The need to feel secure is high and many things keep pulling on you. Reflect for a moment that your children are getting more love and attention from you and how that may positively impact them in the future. Notice that you have engaged on deeper and more experiential levels with them and that expresses a deep love that we so need more of in this world right now. It is almost as if the universe demanded that we stop paying attention to the dysfunctional external world and connect with what is more important. And that is a good thing.
